Her Story
Laurel Baker is the founder/ designer and master bench jeweler behind Anchor Boutique, established in 2010 and located in the heart of Uptown St. Augustine at 77 San Marco Avenue.
Specializing in custom engagement rings for clients nationwide. An expert in custom design, making your vision come true. Experience and connections, sourcing the perfect gemstones and diamonds, including hard-to-find specifications.
A graduate of the University of Florida with a BFA in Fine Art Photography. After school, Laurel was called back to her roots with her treasure-hunting dad, who taught her how to identify stones and make silver and turquoise jewelry in his home studio. She honed her craft by studying stone cutting and metal smithing, working alongside her father in his jewelry shop to refine the skills that now define her work.
Laurel traveled the country, attending designer shows and continued her education in fine jewelry. After coming home to Florida and settling in Saint Augustine, Laurel opened Anchor Boutique in 2010. Her studio evolved into custom creations and creating lifelong connections!
Laurel specializes in designing meaningful custom engagement rings, redesigning jewelry, repairs and refurbishing. She works closely with each client through personalized consultations, scheduled at your convenience, to bring your vision to life.

Zuzu’s journey began in the heart of Manhattan’s famed Diamond District, where she honed her craft as a diamond setter surrounded by some of the best in the business. Now a certified Graduate Gemologist, she brings a wealth of technical expertise and an artist’s eye to every piece she touches. Her experience, paired with her global travels and deep appreciation for fine gemstones, gives her a unique perspective on sourcing and design. In her three years with us, Zuzu has become our in-house authority on all things sparkling — ensuring that every stone we set tells its own brilliant story.
Megan
Social Media Queen/Permanent Jeweler
Known affectionately as our “TikTok Queen,” Megan keeps our sparkle alive both in-store and online. As our resident chain expert and go-to model, she showcases our craftsmanship with authenticity and flair. Her creativity shines through in every video and post she creates, inspiring customers near and far. As she celebrates her first anniversary with us, Megan continues to bring fresh energy, connection, and style to the team.

Keely is the newest bright face on our team — and she brings both structure and sparkle to everything she does. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a strong background in leadership and operations, she keeps our creative chaos running seamlessly. She’s also an artist at heart — the mastermind behind our beautiful website and a natural at blending organization with design. Now, Keely is thrilled to channel her creativity into the jewelry world, bringing fresh ideas and a vibrant, bubbly energy to the studio. Her enthusiasm, artistry, and knack for getting things done make her an exciting part of our growing team.
